Pain & Anxiety Formulations: Fast-Acting Relief through Mucosal Absorption
IVPMED’s platform enables fast-acting relief for pain, anxiety, and mood disorders through the precise delivery of nano-formulated active ingredients. These formulations are designed for rapid oral mucosal absorption, bypassing first-pass metabolism to provide faster onset and more predictable therapeutic outcomes.
Our formulations are especially beneficial for:
-
Anxiety and panic attacks.
-
Chronic stress and depression.
-
Bipolar disorder symptom management.
-
Chronic and neuropathic pain.

Formulation & Mechanism
Each formulation contains Delta-8 THC and Melatonin, suspended in a water-based nanostructure. This allows the active compounds to bind and pass through protein channels in the oral mucosa, ensuring rapid uptake directly into the bloodstream.
Delta-8 THC, combined with melatonin, offers a non-opioid therapeutic approach to support opioid withdrawal, tapering, and relapse prevention. Melatonin works synergistically with Delta-8 by activating specific cellular protein channels, enhancing Delta-8’s entry and interaction within the body. This dual mechanism may improve absorption, promote relaxation, and help stabilize mood—key factors in easing withdrawal and supporting long-term recovery.
Delivery is performed via the Omnimist ultrasonic nebulizer adapter, designed for oral cavity targeting rather than pulmonary delivery. This method maximizes effect while reducing systemic side effects common with oral ingestion or intravenous administration.
Technical Details
How It’s Administered
-
Nebulizers: Mesh size >6 micron @110kHz – 150 Khz.
-
Activation: User selects dose via touchscreen.
-
Inhalation process:
1. Inhale gently through mouthpiece.
2. The device vibrates twice for haptic feedback.
3. Mist is released directly into the oral cavity.
The mist adheres to oral membranes and is rapidly absorbed, enabling therapeutic effects within minutes — ideal for acute episodes of anxiety or breakthrough pain.
Use Cases in Medical & Research Settings
This formulation system is currently being evaluated for:
-
Behavioral health clinics focused on rapid-onset interventions.
-
Pain management practices seeking safer alternatives to opioids.
-
Clinical trials testing cannabinoid-emulsified therapies.
-
At-home treatment programs under remote medical supervision.
